I expected Obama to pull something like that. While I disagree with MR. Warren theologically (to the point I left the Baptist Church for Reformed) he , is in my opinion one of the architects of the shift in the American Evangelical Church from social conservatism to center Left. The fact MR Warren and his beliefs a la Purpose Driven ____ are closer to the social Gospel.. The Irony is the gay constituent may drive the evangelical back to the Republican Party.
It is becoming very sad day as I watch the conservative moment go from the party of Goldwater and Reagan to the party of mad hatters. Fist over immigration as conservatives still trying to beat the Populist drum over immigration not realizing it is a losing issue now grasping at straw over Obama’s birth certificate. There are many more issues to worry about. I can no longer cal myself a conservative. Thank you Rush Limbaugh and the rest of talk radio for sending the moment straight to hell and the funny farm.
