Sorry for the long delay but due to leaning\u00a0 a new job I have not had the time to\u00a0 put a full report. Also since I do not se much interest I going the keep things short. \u00a0All three of\u00a0 my Plushies were my companions for the con.<\/p>\n

Highlights:<\/p>\n
I missed out on Friday due to end of\u00a0 quarter and trying to keep up with the work load. \u00a0I got in late on Saturday\u00a0 due to\u00a0 the long line\u00a0 to get in.\u00a0 I missed The Doctor is in with David Tennant, but instead when to one of\u00a0 Dr Erin Macdonald panel on time travel. She did three panels during the convention. \u00a0Sunday\u00a0 Caity Lotz (White Canary), and Brandon Routh the Atom from Legends of \u00a0Tomorrow were my obligatory celebrity panel.<\/p>\n
The Good: any panel by\u00a0 Dr Erin Macdonald. Take one scientist, add\u00a0 a Trekie and a lot of Girl Geek power and you have a recipe for\u00a0 some interesting science and fandom panels.<\/p>\n

The bad<\/p>\n
The worst: The entry line\u00a0 on Saturday. If you know you are going to have 15K plus attendees, perhaps you should have more than one entry point.<\/p>\n
One\u00a0 thing\u00a0 I have to say about the celebrity events.\u00a0 One complaint I had was how\u00a0 celerity panels tend to be nothing more than celebrity porn:\u00a0 see the celebrity ask a dumb question and\u00a0\u00a0 buy a autograph. This year the celebrities seem to try to make\u00a0 the panels more\u00a0 entertaining and engaging.<\/p>\n
Overall I had a great time. Note photos are by creative\u00a0 common license share them but do no change\u00a0 them, sell them or\u00a0 them in a derogatory manner.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
