Each Year I groan when some well mean but misguided Christian or non believer brings up the so called war on Christmas.\u00a0 So today I bring:<\/p>\n

\u00a0A Unilateral Declaration\u00a0 of Armistice\u00a0\u00a0on War on Christmas<\/p>\n

Whereas the unregenerate does not know Christ nor give him glory because he or is dead in trespasses and sin. (Romans 1:18-32<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore Whereas it is not the nature or duty of the unregenerate to proclaim Christ apart from Christ bring the sinner into\u00a0 himself \u00a0though repentance and forgiveness of sin that come though\u00a0 the preaching of the Gospel , and that\u00a0 by faith as a gift from God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whereas is the Job of the Church and Christian to proclaim Christ and him crucified. <\/span><\/p>\n

I Richard do declare Unilateral Declaration of Armistice on War on Christmas.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0<\/span>I call for an immediate cessation of all hostilities, protest, boycotts and monitoring of all stores and business who do not acknowledge Christmas. <\/span><\/span>\n

    1. \u00a0this does not apply to Churches who claim to be Christian but deny Christ<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0<\/span>It is not the duty of Walmart , Target or any other store\u00a0 nor it is to duty of any\u00a0 Christian\u00a0 to demand\u00a0 employees and management to\u00a0 acknowledge the season by saying Merry Christmas.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. As per 1 Corinthians 5: 9-13 <\/a>we shall not prohibit ourselves doing business with any secular business that does not support Christmas. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Therefore it is the job of the Christian, by the Grace of God working us, to proclaim Christ and wish employees and management merry Christmas.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Whereas we should be grateful if one can display a nativity scene in a public place, but it is not the job of a secular state to proclaim Christ; this is the job the Church. Therefore we should work, as in the case of Santa Monica, to move such display to Private property and remind those like the Freedom form Religion our rights to freely express or religion granted by the First Amendment and property rights.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. If a secular school prohibit or change Christmas to \u201cHoliday or Winter Celebration\u201d the Christian should question why are they turning over the education of their children to a secular intuition rather than protesting the change. It is the job of the Christian parent and Church to raise and properly catechize children into the faith not by and trusting a secular education system.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. We shall not as Christian fret about consumerism during the holiday season. Instead we should be ready to share the good news of the Gospel this most Holy season.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
