{"id":508,"date":"2013-04-30T10:30:38","date_gmt":"2013-04-30T17:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lionspeak.asinglelion.com\/?p=508"},"modified":"2013-04-30T10:33:04","modified_gmt":"2013-04-30T17:33:04","slug":"nt-wright-asks-what-is-the-gospel-but-misses-a-big-part-of-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asinglelion.com\/lionspeak\/?p=508","title":{"rendered":"NT Wright Asks What is the Gospel but Misses a Big  Part of It."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This\u00a0goes to the part \u00a0that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lionspeak.asinglelion.com\/?p=506\">I am being \u00a0block by\u00a0some\u00a0 blogs<\/a> so\u00a0this\u00a0is\u00a0more\u00a0\u00a0responsible\u00a0 to \u00a0a video first posted on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kendallharmon.net\/t19\/index.php\/t19\/article\/48471\/\">Titus One Nine\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0In \u00a0 where Mr Wright tries to\u00a0answer what\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0Gospel\u00a0but miss misses a major component when he\u00a0explains\u00a0the\u00a0Gospel\u00a0as \u00a0 the good news of\u00a0Christ\u00a0kingdom but\u00a0misses\u00a0Christ\u00a0dying for \u00a0our sin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ICHovRHJAYY\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Some time ago some there was a typical evangelistic sign &#8220;Jesus is the answer&#8221;; I suspect some scoffer replied: \u00a0then what is the question? In the same way the video says in a way, Jesus saves, but then the question needs to be asked from what? Mr. Wright come close ( but no cigar) 10 minutes and 50 seconds into\u00a0 the video. The Gospel is what Christ has done. Christ has died for our sins according to the scripture and was resurrected for our salvation according to the scripture. 1 Cor 15.<\/p>\n<p>He seems to skirt around salvation.
