That the problem with contacting at some fortune 500 companies. After a big Microsoft case concerning contractors, a lot of big companies only allows one to contract for 18 months then you have to wait six months before one can go back to the same company. Upper management likes it, especially in light of the fine work our\u00a0 politicians are doing to help us in the middle class (Obamacare , taxing the rich, investing in (temporary) Green Jobs)) &#8212;NOT (that another rant for another day) The 18 moth limit to contacting\u00a0 plays havoc with lab mangers e who have to let go good and\u00a0 trained technicians.\u00a0 My manger would love to hire me but there is a hiring freeze due decline of PC sales\u00a0 losing market share to\u00a0 smart phone and tablet business.<br \/>\nThe silver liner I do have a place to go if nothing pans out in six months. They told me to call. Right now Intel is a chance with opening of the DX1 fab and reopening of FAB 20. Now only if there temp IT firm in India actually read my resume and stop sending me job request for engineers in California and Texas but I live in Oregon.<br \/>\nMy goal as always is not how much the government can help me (unemployment food stamps) but how little I need it. The record to break for me is 30 days. I do not count how long but I never been on extended benefits more than 4 weeks.
