Second deny the\u00a0\u00a0 doctrine of total depravity and original sin.\u00a0 Ignore and disregard scripture \u00a0that \u00a0shows we all \u00a0are dead in sin and trespasses\u00a0 Roman 1: 16-32 and the natural man cannot obey \u00a0God nor\u00a0 understand \u00a0spiritual things Ignore verses 1 Corinthians 2:14-16, and Romans 8:5-8.<\/p>\n

Now I am being\u00a0 facetious but there is a important point to be made about culture: we Christians\u00a0 share the blame for this current \u00a0gay marriage\u00a0 mess by intrusting power to regulated marriage to a secular state on a false assumption America at any time\u00a0 was a\u00a0 Christian nation; that such nationalism cannot be found in Scripture.<\/p>\n
Perhaps we need to lean we are not, and never was and never could be a Christian nation and need to get back proclaiming the Gospel.<\/p>\n
