Ann Coulter,\u00a0 the conservative\u00a0 commentator, dropped a bombshell by calling \u00a0the brave missionaries who are\u00a0 following\u00a0 Christ\u00a0\u00a0 Great\u00a0 Commission\u00a0\u00a0 Idiotic<\/a>. I think this sums it up<\/p>\n

\u201cCan’t anyone serve Christ in America anymore?<\/p>\n

No — because we’re doing just fine. America, the most powerful, influential nation on Earth, is merely in a pitched battle for its soul.<\/p>\n

About 15,000 people are murdered in the U.S. every year. More than 38,000 die of drug overdoses, half of them from prescription drugs. More than 40 percent of babies are born out of wedlock. Despite the runaway success of “midnight basketball,” a healthy chunk of those children go on to murder other children, rape grandmothers, bury little girls alive — and then eat a sandwich. A power-mad president has thrown approximately 10 percent of all Americans off their health insurance — the rest of you to come! All our elite cultural institutions laugh at virginity and celebrate promiscuity.\u00a0\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cWhich explains why American Christians go on “mission trips” to disease-ridden cesspools. They’re tired of fighting the culture war in the U.S., tired of being called homophobes, racists, sexists and bigots. So they slink off to Third World countries, away from American culture to do good works, forgetting that the first rule of life on a riverbank is that any good that one attempts downstream is quickly overtaken by what happens upstream.\u00a0\u201c<\/p>\n

But finally, in a\u00a0 fit of hypocrisy, she quotes John 15:18, yet the verses point directly to her action as hating \u00a0\u00a0those who are called das missionaries.<\/p>\n

In short\u00a0 Her\u00a0 populist rant\u00a0 \u201cAmerica\u00a0 first\u201d and \u00a0\u00a0dammed\u00a0 the rest of the world.\u00a0\u00a0 This flies \u00a0totally against what Christ teaches us in the great commission, to spread the Gospel\u00a0 to the ends of the world. Matt 28:16-20.<\/p>\n

So what can we learn from her outburst.\u00a0 The Christian need to be discerning\u00a0\u00a0 when involving in secular \u00a0politics and the conservative\u00a0 media \u00a0such as Ann Culture\u00a0 , Dennis Preager, Mike Savage, Glen Beck, and Rush Limbaugh among others. While there no\u00a0 prohibition\u00a0 we must careful \u00a0less \u00a0we fall into sin of \u00a0idolatry and worldliness . It not lost\u00a0 on me Ms. \u00a0Coulter\u00a0 proclaims the false social gospel and openly \u00a0mocks\u00a0 the proclamation of Good News of the Gospel that Christ \u00a0dying for our sin rose again for our justification.\u00a0 It not just Ann at fault. \u00a0I was very sympatric\u00a0 to the religious\u00a0 right during 1988-98. I was brother by the mailing I received\u00a0 because in all the mailing told what we are to do but nowhere in the letters I received told us to pray to God for wisdom and direction;\u00a0 Christian\u00a0 Collation and the Family Research Center was all work righteousness and no Gospel.\u00a0 \u00a0Second we should not be surprised that persecution will come from those who claim allies\u00a0 of Christians.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Some \u00a0of\u00a0 harshest\u00a0 mockers of the Gospel,\u00a0 like many on the left , come\u00a0 from the conservative, Libertarian and Objectivist camps, those while claim \u00a0the banner of individual liberty.<\/p>\n

Our \u00a0response\u00a0 to such mockers and haters of Christ\u00a0 in the conservative movement\u00a0 should be discernment. We may have to call for \u00a0separation and withholding\u00a0 of support\u00a0 less one\u00a0 become unequally yoked with nonbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14.\u00a0 \u00a0For example I had resign my position as Precinct Committee Persons Person for Washington County, reregister as an independent, and renounce support for\u00a0 the Republican Party, Tea Party, and conservatism\u00a0 over immigration , and Dominionist\u00a0 theology (turning America into an Idol) that run counter of biblical beliefs.<\/p>\n

As for Ann Coulter, and while at it Rush Limbaugh and Glen Back, if they\u00a0 ever came to\u00a0 saving knowledge of\u00a0 Christ (sans Mr. Beck) we are to call out their\u00a0 sin\u00a0 call them to hear the Gospel that\u00a0 Christ\u00a0 died for that sin calling them \u00a0to repentance and forgiveness of sin, but knowing \u00a0nether has shown the fruits of salvation, we pray that they hear the proclamation of the Gospel , come to saving knowledge\u00a0 and repentance\u00a0 though Christ alone<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
