I feel the recent fireworks ban in Portland\u00a0 is part of the new normal of\u00a0 given the newly discovered power\u00a0 grab by government\u00a0 over COVID-19\u00a0 Lockdowns (FYI the lockdowns case more harm and were ineffective). I was watching the Portland fire chief explaining\u00a0 his action; \u00a0I saw the\u00a0 same\u00a0 panic\u00a0 ridden urgency\u00a0 and exaggerations as I did during COVID-19.<\/p>\n
There is\u00a0 a better way\u00a0 than just banning them like setting up designated locations for\u00a0 some to set off legal fireworks.<\/p>\n
I propose\u00a0 an act of good old American civil disobedience . Every housed grab a legal firework fountain and at 10:00pm set it off at the same time.<\/p>\n
