The Road to Obamacare

Unlike some whom claim Obama care was a 100% Democrat affair, I believe the road of Obamacare is paved by the mistakes of conservatism since 1997 over immigration and willful political neglect in 2006 and 2008.  Both factored in leading to rise of democrat majority, the passage of Obamacare and the rule of the Supreme Court.

Part I No more Jose.

June 1997:  National Review cover story was Electing a New People by Peterbrimelow & Ed Rubenstein , The story predicted the waning of republican  majority because new immigrants  vote Democrat, or in other word the Conservative go off the cliff. I feel the adoption of  a more restrictive   immigration policy disguised as immigration reformed  has driven both  immigrant and  native-born sympathizers to the democrat party  setting up for the Democrats to control both houses  and the presidency.  (More about this later),

Part II Witch-hunt or Hunt the Rino and NeoCon:

If a populist immigration policy was not enough there was the great purge of 2006 lead by low conservative like Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck. Both Beck and Limbaugh demonstrate the corrosive problem of conservative talk radio: both were big on showmanship put offer little in principled intellectual high conservatism. Yes some RINOs had to go but one does not throws out the baby with the bathwater. It was pure insanity to think we should let the democrats win and we can win back with conservative majority on the next cycle, instead in 2008 Conservatism doubled down on a bad bet and went thumbs down on McCain the result was both house under Democrat control, and a leftist in the Whitehouse. Obama made sure of this opportunity by passing Obamacare and two Supreme Court Justices   leading to the declared constitutionality of Obamacare.    As I think of the conservative government has not learn its lessons  in 2012. By not putting up credible individual liberty limited government Reagan conservative, My choice was between Romney and a populist Sanatorium. Romney won.

Perhaps Next time we can lean out lesson, any republican is better than letting a democrat win and the need  for  Limited government Conservatism and open borders.

He has Risen

1 Corinthians 15:3-8

English Standard Version (ESV)

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

Reformed Hip Hop Artist Raps with Sound Biblical Doctrine and Conviction

Except guilty pleasures in a form of a geek-core rapper I do not care much for hip hop. Worst t is the sorry state of Christian music, ether we have lame knockoffs of a current pop star or trend  or narcissistic pulp mantra. Even the Creators of South Park sees the sham of Contemporary Christian Music:

While I was listening to my favorite show, Fighting for the Faith, I was introduced to  Jovan MacKenzy a former member of a word of faith church and christian rapper who walked away his church and record label when he started examining the scripture and realize the preaching did not line up with scripture.

Recently Mr. MacKenzy released a new album; The Narrow Road: Famine. The best of all he giving it away for free, still there is a button for donation.  One unique song is Triune God, Here he is able defend the doctrine of the trinity with sound biblical doctrine while in rime.

On a side note, Jovan MacKenzy demonstrates it not about beat or style but all about contentment.

I Should Be Not Writing This Post

I should be in a hospice with stage four colon cancer, head cancer or any and forms of cancer.

On 15 Feb I had a routine Colonoscopy, the week and months leading to it I was a wreck; my symptoms were irregular constipation and diarrhea, excessive gas.  Online medical sites offer a wealth of information but most of these sites pointed to one thing Colon Cancer. I have tendency for pessimism and phobia to where I falsely concluded I had a serious problem. I played the scenario over and over again I would be shown a picture of a tumor, biopsy will be performed and tomorrow you shall find me a grave man.

When I became aware from the fog of the sedation, the results were just hemorrhoids and minor issue enough that all I need is to change to amore fiber rich diet.  No cancer no life threatening illness.

My recent experiences make me wonder if the “cure” of Medical  Web site like the Mayo Clinic and Web Md. are worst than  the disease? For me, I have to conclude yes. The problem I am having is informational overload coupled by the fact the nether me or the commentators have the medical training or experiences to properly process the information   presented. In the wrong hand or with the emotional problem I am facing; medical knowledge of symptoms is devastating leading to unnecessary emotional turmoil, hypochondria and paranoia. While I do approve simple community advice like get screenings when to see a doctor,  but people should only trust competent medical professions in knowing when to see you doctor and diagnose your symptoms.    Online medical sites can be a trap.
