I believe this election is the Death Knell of Conservatism as a political philosophy. The problem is conservatives are too interested in protecting collective intuitions rather than the freedom of individuals. The fact is conservatism is as collectivist as liberalism.
The solution is individualism, separation of state and institutions, and Laissez Faire Capitalism. I am convened as almost as much as God exist, as long as the looters and moochers feels entitled to force others to sacrifice for their benefit the endless spiral to statism will continue.
