The New Boston Massacre

Since the Newtown Connecticut Shooting I decided to hold off for a week or so before commenting because of the inaccuracy of the mainstream media , including Fox,  by need to report it now often fueled by speculation .

One of the first things I did was to stop reading Libertarian blogs.  I know for them start there was  a Middle East connection due  to the type  of  shrapnel IED and the interval of the  explosion are too close  to similar tactic employed by Palestinian  Terrorist in Israel.

No back to Libertarianism: I written the following on another blog

Ok we found who are the terrorist, now can we get back to gutting the patriot act, end domestic surveillance , ban drone attacks and pull out of Afghanistan, Iraq, close gitmo and free all the detainees .

Now I am being a bit sarcastic but I always took a long view on the war on terrorism. We need realize in this new era of warfare, we cannot slack off close everything down and cocoon within our borders and think happy libertarian thoughts and expect terrorist attacks will not happen again.

MY reason for  my dig on Libertarians is  for that years Libertarians (and l liberals ) were beating the isolationist drum and once again like  Pearl Harbor, 9/11 and now the Boston Massacre the Libertarians and Liberals are wrong   are dead wrong.

How to Acknowledge Gay marriage Without Sounding Like a Postmodern Heretic

A few thoughts from many different comments on other blogs I made: Could  a  Christian acknowledge the right to form civil contracts inc including  marriage for Homosexuals?

It has to do with the principles of two kingdoms in reference to the civil kingdom. The civil kingdom who only charge is to protect the life and liberty of its citizens and must allow individuals adult to make private social contracts as long as force and fraud is not employed. I look at gay marriage in the same way as heterosexuals living together outside of marriage, while it is sin its, it should not be illegal; it is not role of government to prohibit nor force other to support gay marriage.

1 Corinthians 1:18

English Standard Version (ESV)

18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

English Standard Version (ESV)

14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Romans 8:5-8

English Standard Version (ESV)

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

There is a common thread I want to examine in the above scripture quotes is the carnal man by nature is opposed  and hostile   to the things of God, then why did we in trust  secular man with the  promoting marriage, and while I am at it, the Education system? In my opinion the Christians were setting themselves up for a fall for decades when it allowed the  secular therefore naturally  hostile to God (Romans 8: 7,8), government to promote marriage and the education system. It is why I take a libertarian approach that acknowledge the right to two consenting  adults  to enter  contracts including marriage but no right to demand support from a third party.  Furthermore we need to take a look at the welfare state,  why should one should be entitled to what other produce because one is married.  Why should a married family  who useless more  of state resources (schools ,  parks, welfare) and pay less of the share of the tax burden.

As  I  look at gay marriage in the same way I look at heterosexual couples living together and  “sleeping together” ousted marriage, immoral but not necessarily  illegal.

Gay marriage should put to death this silly culture war, If we want to regenerate culture it will not happen until God regenerate the person’s heat and only through the proclamation of the Gospel.

He Has Risen

1 Corinthians 15

English Standard Version (ESV)

15 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

I have been thinking what if Christ did not rise from the dead, how meaningless   Christianity would be.  Not only we be still condemned in our sins but looking at liberal churches, all would have is feminist drenched happy thoughts with a side of community. I would rather become a Buddhist Shaolin Monk, find “enlightenment” and have abs of steel.

But the tombs is empty, Christ has risen indeed Alleluia Alleluia

Hello Kitty Gun Used to Spread Gun Story Misinformation

In a CNN I report  ( a site to check up on leads) “Toy “Hello Kitty”AR-15, results in a 3 year old child’s death”  The problem is the story is a lie.

“In an article dated February 10, 2013 in the Houston Chronicle, states in an instance this month regarding the attached picture of a “Hello Kitty” AR-15 toy Assault Rifle was mistaken for the real thing, as a result, there was a shooting death of a 3 year old child in Greenville, SC.It’s this I-Reporters opinion that this kind of manufacturing of a toy AR-15 crosses the line. Something like this should not be happening, but yet it did. These type of manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves for making such a toy weapon.”

In a popup the story refers to a Greenville story of a three why killed by a gun by his sister who found a pink handgun gun unsecured in her grandmas home not a Hello Kitty AR-15 .

While sad and tragic, Houston Chronicle had pick up the story for its hit piece on gun ownership Marketing assault: Selling women on guns the original post shows a Pink Hello Kitty AR-15 with the caption “In one instance, a weapon like this ‘Hello Kitty’ AR-15 assault rifle was mistaken for a toy, which resulted in a death.”  This story was picked up by cnn.

The Houston Chronicle story chick full logical fallacies and a propaganda piece for the anti gun crowd. The owner of the Hello Kitty AR-15, David Christian, chimes in, calling Houston Chronicle    on the mat.

“The pink Hello Kitty rifle pictured above is NOT anything like the firearm that was involved in the referenced accidental shooting. I know for a fact because the rifle pictured above belongs to my wife as i built it for her. It is safely in our possession and I am frankly kind of outraged that it it’s image was used to push this inaccurate story!”

Caught in their bold faced lie Houston Chronicle changed the story picture

Now You see itNow You see it

Furthermore Sanrio forbids licensing of sharp objects, drugs, guns and hard alcohol and cigarettes. Hello Kitty guns are ether fakes, art installations or custom jobs not retail products. As a huge Hello Kitty fan and support of gun rights I find both offensive that the Houston Chronicle sinks so low to defame both.
