There Patch O Fur goes again, hunting imaginary Nazis in the fandom.
Recently Dogpatch Press had release another round logical fallacies dressed as news of news alleging Andrew Anglin, the neo-Nazi shill of the Daily Stormer, accepting and encouraging the Alt Furs. Dogpacth press’ argument on this post and others built shaky foundation of tweets taken out of context and generalizations.

The Convention: Kumoricon
The Place: Oregon Convention Center
The Dates 27-29 October 2017
Kumoricon is Oregon’s premier Anime Convention. Both Kiju Hello Kitties and Chococat were my companions .
Thursday and Friday: I picked up my badge on Thursday. I decided this year to take Friday off to attend the convention, but first I had to see the doctor for a follow up appointment and by the time picked up the car rental, it was already 11:00 am. I had lunch and made it over to the convention site.
It only took 24 hours:
“NEWCON IS CANCELLED.
From Michael Anderson, Director of Newcon:
I have to announce that Newcon 6 is cancelled.
“Since 2011, Newcon has tried to give the area an inclusive convention that dips into subcultures beyond just anime and pop culture. Our amazing staff and attendees have made every year of Newcon an exceptionally fun experience, and I am heartbroken that we won’t be able to continue the tradition.”

“UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to move our venue to the Hilton Portland Downtown.”
Unfortunately, the circumstances were not as unforeseen as new con management wants us to believe.
